The Atheist Families of San Antonio provides a healthy social environment for families of atheists, agnostics, skeptics, humanists, freethinkers and other non-believers. This is a group for anyone interested in the issue of adult literacy. Each One Teach One Adult and Family Literacy Program of San Antonio is the only non-profit in the city that provides one on one tutoring to adults in reading, writing and math and to adults who are studying to take the GED exam. San Antonio has a dire problem with adult literacy - 25% of all San Antonio adults read below 8th grade level. Additionally, the city has a dropout rate of 40%.
