Meet local libertarian atheists for conversation, friendship and fun events! You must identify yourself as both an atheist and a libertarian to be a member. However, anyone interested in atheists or libertarianism is welcome to come as a guest. We usually meet on the last Saturday of the month.
This group is mainly to get like-minded individuals to get together and socialize. As Atheists/Agnostics/
Humanists/Freethinkers are the minority in almost all regions of America, this is an attempt to reach out to those in Phoenix offering a chance to meet others and also to discuss positive activism in the community and in politics.
"For us, there can be no other way than that of reason, of facts, of evidence. Truth is what matters most."
I want to start a group people that is interested in improving themselves and their community. Whether you're an atheist, agnostic, or anti religion , if you'd like to meet people and be part of something bigger than yourself, you'd be welcome. Think of it as " church" in the sense that there's fellowship, along with the purpose of improving ourselves and our neighborhoods.
This group is not tied to any particular school of Buddhism or belief in a spiritual reality separate and apart from the material world. Practitioners of any school or religion are welcome as are non-practitioners.The inspiration for this undertaking are the works of Stephen Batchelor; particularly the following: "Buddhism without Beliefs"; "Living with the Devil"; and "Confessions of a Buddhist Atheist". My hope would be to use "Buddhism without Beliefs" as a catalyst for our initial meetings. …

This imbalance makes it seems like we are alone. JOIN THE BLACK AZ ATHEIST MEET UP GROUP, to meet other local atheist, freethinkers, agnostic, heathens. We will gather to discuss beliefs and philosophies, share our experiences, and make new friends.
About this group: This group was born from the Phoenix Atheists Meetup Group (PAMG) as a way to concentrate and nurture efforts to bring together freethinking, atheist, agnostic and other non-believer families with children. Our goal is to be a catalyst in the development of a more personal, supportive community of freethinkers. We hope you will find community in this group, a place to connect and find families you want to get to know outside of just the meetup events posted here. If you have …

Basically we're just a group for those who are sympathetic to the Austrian perspective in regards to economics. Typically there is no set agenda or topic of discussion; we are first and foremost a social group. Our primary aim is to provide a non-formal setting, where like-minded people can come together for a fun social outing. However, we may occasiona …

Looking for a place to meet some new friends, enjoy craft beers and discuss faith, spirituality, religion, 'God', and life in a casual atmosphere? If so, we'd love to meet you! Some of the best spiritual/theological talks I've ever had usually happen while sharing a drink with others, and so I wanted to start this discussion group to give more people an opportunity to do something which most of us usually don't have time for: thinking about life and how 'God' (or a higher power) fits into that l …

Our purpose is to study, teach, and share the original Biblical texts, in depth, from their Hebrew language foundation from information learned in Jerusalem, Israel - that was never shared with the west until now. Our teaching format includes lectures, multi-media slides, movies, and hand-on demonstrations. This amazing objective non-sectarian information that we will share with our members will bring them up to date with current world events - based on the Hebrew calendar. This new objective …
Hello there...I'm making this group as a place for secular-minded people who enjoy getting outdoors and doing stuff, ranging from hiking and camping to more service-oriented activities. Oh, and beer. You don't need to be an actual heathen to join, but the inspiration was that I realized I kind of miss the service side of going to church, although not enough to be a fake member of one. I figure there are probably a lot of others out there, and it would be fun to get together.
