A very good debate I recently had with a high-ranking Christian representative inspired me to launch this Meetup group. Most debates between Christians and Atheists are either highly philosophical ("What made existence come into existence?", "What triggered the Big Bang?", "Can we ever prove/disprove the existence of God?") or articulated around scientific inconsistencies in the Bible (miracles, as Christians would argue,) - In my experience though, these debates don't lead anywhere.
