Meet other local atheists, agnostics, freethinkers and skeptics. Discuss books relating to atheism, including the "New Atheism", history & biography, philosophy and scientific rationalism. This is not an interfaith dialogue group - most of our members are also members of the Dallas-Plano Atheist Meetup. However, all are invited to attend who have read the month's book selection.

To see previous books we've read or one's that we're contemplating for the future, visit our GoodReads group here: http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/8394.Dallas_Plano_Ath...

For November, the book selection is "The Little Book of Atheist Spirituality" by Andre Comte-Sponville. In December we will discuss Richard Dawkins latest work: "The Greatest Show on Earth". Both books are available at a 10-15% discount at Legacy Books if you mention atheist book club at the counter.

The Atheist Book Club meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at Legacy Books in Plano, from 7-9 p.m. Read more

What members are saying

This group is a vibrant community of thinking adults. The books selected provide a fount of information, and the discussion elaborates even further on many topics.
