Meet other local atheists, agnostics, freethinkers and skeptics. Discuss books relating to atheism, including the "New Atheism", history & biography, philosophy and scientific rationalism. This is not an interfaith dialogue group - most of our members are also members of the Dallas-Plano Atheist Meetup. However, all are invited to attend who have read the month's book selection.

To see previous books we've read or one's that we're contemplating for the future, visit our GoodReads group here: http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/8394.Dallas_Plano_Ath...

“I love to read books that make you think about the "big questions" of life. And even better-to discuss those ideas with people who have an informed point of view.”

“It is hard for me to believe that there are so many other people that read the same kind of stuff I do! I love Steven Pinker, Dennett, etc.. I am an avid reader. In this group, that doesn't seem to say much, which is great. Looking forward.....”

“I always love a good book and learning new perspectives on atheism and how to counter our theistic fellows' arguments is a plus!”
