Empanda Foundation

Hi All,

For a while now I have been thinking about starting a charitable and
community service group for secular people. I have finally taken the
plunge. It will be called Empanda Foundation. We hope to
have a bank account and checks next week.

I have also started a Meetup group for Empanda. My idea is I can
schedule and announce volunteer events there and hope people will join
us and/or donate money to us. If not, then, Jeanne and I will go it
alone. So we will just be tackling smaller projects at first.

We will also schedule some social events. In particular, right now I am
thinking of having dinner each 4th Friday at various places to be
determined.

I am writing in the hopes that many of you will join the Empanda meetup group and keep
track of our events. I hope many of you will want to participate in
those events as well.
