We are cooking and serving food at a Hartford shelter for women. We are looking for volunteers and donors. We expect the dinner (for about 20 people) to cost $150. If you cannot come, please considering donating what you can.

Ed Buckner, President of American Atheist, will be joining us for Sunday Brunch, so we will go to Mill on the River instead. Here's the direct link to the Sunday Brunch menu.

Cost is $19.95 (Brunch is $15.95, tax 6%, 18% gratuity for large parties. No separate checks.) I need to make reservations at least a week ahead of time. I need an exact number, so I cannot accept Maybes. If you signed up, I expect you to come. If there is emergency last minute change after the deadline, please e-mail me. After the deadline, if you still wish to go, you will have call them and arrange reservations with the restaurant directly. The restaurant also says there is a 25 people limit. After that, I presume the overflow crowd can make a separate reservation and will not sit together. This should be okay as the restaurant is fairly small anyway.

This is an annual American Atheist celebration. If you wish to go, you MUST first register on line with AA at http://www.atheists.org/wintersolstice.html
Cost: $34.00 per person ($17 for children ten and under) and includes all taxes and gratuities. There will be a cash bar. A small group of us will also carpool over there and share gas and toll expenses. If you are interested in doing that, please RSVP. If you are willing to drive, let us know as well. Once we know how many, we can arrange the logistics. You can RSVP "Maybe" but we need to change to "Yes" by Dec. 10, 10pm so we can plan accordingly. After that date, "Maybe" will be presumed to mean "No". Dennis is definitely going and is the person to contact if you need more information. We would have to leave at about 8am.- 8:30am to get there in time.

This is our monthly membership/planning meeting. Come help us plan our participation in the community! We'll provide pizza, soda and dessert. We collect a voluntary contribution to help pay for the cost of dinner and fund CVA activities. We are conducting a food drive for the South Windsor Food Bank. Please bring nonpersishable items. Toiletries (shampoos, toothpaste etc) are in demand.
