Hi! My name is Melody! I'm a university student from UC Davis, and I'm heading to LA for the summer. I'm a member of the UC Davis Agnostic Atheist Student Alliance, and I suppose I will miss being around other atheists. :P I'd love to meet new peeps!
What was your religious upbringing? We know you're an atheist now... But before you thought for yourself, what religion failed at brainwashing you?
I was raised Catholic. I never really believed in the teachings, but I felt guilty for not having the "purity of heart" to accept dogma without question and feigned faith. I grew out of this shame when I went off to University. Much happier now :)
