    • “ Thank you to everyone who came down, I hope you all enjoyed the event. In future there will be a bit of an emphasis on the talk rather than the quick talk I delivered yesterday with the emphasis on afterwards. That isn't to say there won't still be plenty of discussion and drinking though! ”
    • “ When I got to the meeting place, it turned out the meeting was for the 'Leeds Skeptics in the Pub". I was rather confused, but was told that it was also the right place for the atheist meet up. So I hung on for nearly an hour while people just chatted. The meeting was run by a young man who proceeded to set up a slide show and then talked skeptically (of course) about homeopathy. And that was it. No discussion about atheism; it seemed really just an opportunity for a range of people (mainly men) to meet to talk about football. ”
