Meet other local atheists, secular humanists, skeptics, freethinkers and heathens.
The Centre for Inquiry Canada, an educational and outreach organization promoting reason, science, secular ethics and free inquiry in all areas of human endeavour, is sponsoring this meetup in the hope of, among other things, launching a Centre for Inquiry Community in Calgary in the next 2-3 months.
Our goal is to drum up support for such an undertaking by using this meetup to provide networking opportunities for local secular humanists to meet each other and bounce ideas around. We are working with leaders from the local Secular Humanists in Calgary association, and we hope to find new leaders through this meetup to assist in this project.
Having said that, any and all atheists and secular humanists are invited to join us at our meetups for socializing, good company and good food!
Additionally, any students or profs affiliated with universities in Alberta, especially U of C, should please contact Justin Trottier at justin.trottier@gmail.com. We are very interested in launching campus freethinker organizations by the end of the academic year.

New Greeting for“Hi Cliff, I just wanted to thank you and everyone who was responsible for making the most out of a potentially more 'disappointing' night on Thursday regarding Brother Sam. I had a great time and I appreciated the effort to salvage the evening.
