Central Valley Skeptics Monthly Meeting

The Central Valley Skeptics is a society of freethinking individuals with the common love of skeptical inquiry. Our mission is to act as agents of change for the intellectual betterment of our community and the protection of scientific investigation from the forces of superstition. To this end, we will serve as a watch dog group, a charity, and a social group. We will strive to assist our schools through monetary means and through promotion of skepticism. We will assist our students by funding scholarships. We will remain vigilant to protect the public against pseudo-science of all sorts and will assist victims of scam artists to the best of our abilities. Above all, we promote rational, constructive debate and open exchanges of ideas and will provide a safe haven for those who desire the same.
