About South Lake Atheists and Freethinkers

Our goal is to unite like-minded individuals to educate and promote positive awareness about atheists, freethinkers and other non-theists throughout our communities while supporting our rights and enhancing our quality of life. South Lake Atheists & Freethinkers strives to raise the respectability of Atheists through good deeds in our community. To that end, we currently participate in the Adopt-A-Lake program through the county, our site is Clermont Waterfront Park (you may have seen the sign). We hold bi-weekly meetings and social events every month. We host guest speakers on topics of interest to Atheists; we also host students from local community colleges who are interested in learning about the secular culture. SLAF encourages anyone to attend our meetings who is an Atheist, Agnostic, Freethinker, Bright, Secular Humanist or if you simply are questioning your faith and want to see what we have to offer. This is a wonderful group of like-minded individuals enjoying great conversations without fear of being judged due to their lack of religious faith.
