Welcome, Tyler Atheists!
We gather on the first Thursday each month to meet other local atheists, freethinkers and heathens to discuss beliefs and philosophies, and make new friends.
Some of our activities and goals for 2010 include:
* A George Carlin tribute night, to be organized by Sonny.
* Attending the 2010 Texas Freethought Convention in Dallas as a group, to be arranged by Dan W.
* A group trip to The Amazing Meeting in Las Vegas, also to be arranged by Dan W.
* Find a local cause or charity to participate in, such as the Adopt-a-Highway program. Volunteers for researching and organizing this are welcome!
* Promote participation by UT Tyler students in the UTT Philosophy Club student organization.
