Introduction
I'm an atheist. Most people that know me know me as 'the atheist' and will almost never discuss religion, or can't think clearly once that discussion treads upon their 'sacred' yet erroneous beliefs.
What's the stupidest religious idea you've ever heard?
What's the stupidest religious idea I've ever heard? Most of them. The worst idea isn't the crazy claims of religion but that people *actually* believe this stuff, and some will kill to make sure others do as well.
Who's your favorite freethought 'hero'?
My favorite freethought hero is the late Carl Sagan. He didn't just dismiss god, but explained the Universe in a way almost anyone can understand. A close second is Richard Dawkins.
When did you admit to being an atheist?
I admitted to being an atheist the second I deconverted at age 20, but I've had to hide it at work for the most part. I came out big time with my blog, The Atheist Angle: www.atheistangle.blogspot.com.
