Hello. I am 56. I attended the UI in the 70's before embarking on a business career. I am now retired and live in Solon with my wife. I was raised as a Southern Baptist. I became an atheist for my mental health. Belief in the supernatural is harmful
Guess that I am more atheist than agnostic. As I understand it a true agnostic simply says "I don't know." and treats all views on god as equally unknowable and a true atheist as someone who is certain that their is no god. I cannot honestly say that I know anything for certain, new evidence/data arrives daily! However, like Richard Dawkins, I find the existence of a God/spiritual force/whatever (such as Yahweh, Allah, Jesus, Shiva, The Dharma, etc.) just as improbable as a teapot circling the sun.
Hmmm...only one? Today, I guess it would have to be The Wizard of Oz. Ask me again tomorrow and you would get a different answer. :-)
Same as with the movies, only one? Today my answer is A Brief Tour of Human Conciousness, by V. S. Ramachandran.

Others should attend if they: A. Want to find support for dealing with the challenges of being an atheist in a religion focused culture; B. Want to have a forum for helping raise society's consciousness about atheism and the need to build and maintain a stronger wall of separation between church and state; C. Have a good time and share some laughs.
