We're still on for today! It looks like the rain won't come until later in the afternoon. The high is only going to be in the 60s though so it will be a little chilly. See you there!

Just so you all know - we will almost all be renting boats at the site so don't worry if you don't have a boat to take.

I am in Des Moines shooting a movie, if I am back in the area, I am coming and bringing me 14 year old son. Love to see you all again! My husband sold our boat 2 weeks ago!

"We had a great time meeting new friends, and look forward to more events like this!"

"Ok, next time I vote we go on a sunny day! But it was still a lot of fun. Definately am looking forward to doing it again. And I added some of the pics I took in the photos section. And yes, I put my puppy as the first pic. What of it?"

"Despite the weather Teresa and I had a great time. It's refreshing to meet like-minded people and the fact that it was more or less between Dubuque and IC/CR was a bonus for us. See you all next time."

"The trip was so relaxing, not having to worry about alligators, water moccasins, or the occasional rogue predator manatee. Although some of the geese did honk menacingly. Additionally, the cold turned my legs blue, which nicely camouflaged my varicose veins. I can't wait to see the pictures and to go again. It was awesome."
