“ I enjoyed meeting some new folks and seeing others I knew. The conversation was lively among all those in the center near me and across from me; likewise for the groups at the two ends of the long table. When I entered, I took the last seat. I was immediately greeted by the coordinator's wife who said she knew me from the time she helped me get me get my house ready for my younger son's wedding--some 14 years ago. We chatted about that and our current circumstances. I talked a bit with a 3rd grader who sat reading chapter books at my left She got cold and I shared my jacket with her. I enjoyed good conversation with those to my right and across the long table from me. The "long table" that had 12 to 14 people per side when I entered around 7:15 PM. Later, 4 to 6 others entered and moved seats and perhaps lengthened the table at the nearest end. About half of the entire group were still there when I left around 9:15 PM. A lovely stimulating evening. ”
