  •  Raines,

thanks for your greeting and I look forward to meeting some of you soon! I will need a new rental shared space probably sometime this spring, and I would prefer a co-housing type of situation. -- Chrysalis

  •  Raines, I keep thinking about what you said,...let's gather people. I have a tentative place...the Tamalpais bank in S.R. but the holidays are coming and i am in the middle of my midterms... how should we plan? cheers, victoria

  •  Welcome Raines
You are so right. There is a crisis already and know one even knows it. Glad you could join our group.

  •  Hi Raines! Good to hear from you. I don't know if you remember me, but we met when I was coming to East Bay CoHo meetings in late 2003. Eventually I decided I was going to move to the east coast, so I stopped coming. I'm still living in Maryland now, so can't come to most meetings, but I'll be in Bay area Nov. 18-Dec. 4 this year. I'm interested in Buddhist cohousing in particular (just saw new item on CoHo website).

  •  Hi Raines, Good to hear from you. I've been ill & mostly laying low. My 89 yr old! Mom is here for her birthday, so when she goes home & if my health holds, i'll be back! Yah, i cleaned up my meetups, had to close/reopen some. Love to you & Betsy!!

  •  Hi Raines! Glad to see you hear but sorry you can't make the first event. I think we are both on Fab Facilitators too with Lisa. I'm aiming to be at Green Festival on the Saturday but don't know that I can handle organizing an additional Meetup there. Maybe I'll just email the group to look for my yellow hat! at 2 p.m. and do something improvisational (grin).

  •  Hello Raines, I am interested in developing and creation of co-housing model in Marin. I am "green"MBA student in sustainable enterprise at Dominican University and would like to have an opportunity to meet you. Please let me know if you are able and willing to meet with me. I am in school most of the Fri-Sun. and evenings are hard for me because of my family needs and I'd delighted to come during the week to meet with you at your convenience. thank you so very much. •  Hi, Thanks for alerting me to my RSVP on the wrong date! Yes, I am aware that Addison St. Housing Cooperative is not co-housing, per se. I am coming to the meeting to learn about how Addison St. operates, in part so that I have some comparison to other places, like Parker St. and can get a feel for what kind of cooperative housing situation might best suit me. I look forward to meeting you and learning more on Sunday! Thanks,

  •  Hi Raines, I am sorry I didn't make it to the meeting last night but am definitely interested in getting to the next one. Are there other avenues for getting more info before established meetings? Thanks a bunch, Sophie

  •  Thanks for letting me know Raines. Carolina Balazs (you know her and her family from Soup, I believe) are moving into an apartment with another couple -- our own experiment with a version of cohousing... we are excited about it. It is our first step as part of a vision of eventually raising a family as part of a co-housing community. -- David

  •  Thanks. I've just been too busy to start something new right now. How old can you be and still get into co-housing?

  •  We're actually in El Cerrito and still active at Netivot Shalom. I feel that co-housing is in our future and I'm interested in staying linked into what's going on. Lots of the programs have just conflicted with Shabbat so far.

  •  Thanks for the welcome, Raines! And I'd be happy to do a talk--or better yet an interactive, hands-on session at the clubhouse--once I really get settled--maybe in the spring? I'll pass your greetings on to Lynne.
