Good Healthy Skepticism!

Combine your workout with thought-provoking discussions by joining us in February 2010 on the third Saturday.

I am looking for others to host talk & walks in 2010 since I won't be able to offer them monthly. If you're interested, please volunteer! Other locations are welcome, too...

Talk & Walk is an informal social event designed to promote fellowship and networking among skeptics, critical-thinkers, and like-minded individuals. It provides an opportunity for skeptics to talk and share ideas while getting some exercise. We discuss the issues of the day and whatever else is on our minds. But most of all, we have fun while promoting skepticism, science, and rationality.

Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather - and most definitely in layers. Bring sunglasses and sunscreen!

Science has shown that regular exercise, including walking briskly, are an excellent way to keep our hearts going strong.

NEW Meeting place: In front of the USS San Francisco Memorial, which is by the upper parking lot at Lands End (off Point Lobos Ave).

Free parking is ample across from the ocean. Public transportation is also possible on the 38-Geary to 48th Ave.

Meeting Time: 9:30 AM - heavy rain cancels

Destination: Round-trip through Lands End, maybe Sutro Park. Total will be about a 10K and NOT flat. There are several times where we need to climb stairs...

For more information or if you have question please email Rachel.
