“ Great group ”
— Marcus Ronaldi on Feb 8, 2009.
“ It's a good one. People friendly, outgoing, and there are lots of tag ends of the conversation I'd like people to have a chance to explain more fully. We got this month into adaptations of human to culture, the uses of culture, pro and con, the Rom, the Jewish culture, immigrant integration and Balkanization, religion as comfort in times of stress and how to engineer children to handle life with evidential behavior patterns rather than myth. Ciao! Small group this month, but it's August. Still quite lively, everyone pitched in with their ruminations on life. ”

“ Interesting people to have several discussions at the same time with. :) ”
— A former member on Mar 17, 2008.
“ I'm enjoying it now and looking forward to seeing what the members decide to do with it. Hopefully we can set up different kinds of atheist meetings--1) some very casual socials, 2) some political/anti-religious/gung ho scientism meetings, and 3) some meetings intensely focussed on developing ideas for new mentally holistic alternatives to religion (focussed on critical thinking but NOT on science). In this way the various reasons people come to such a group could be dealt with directly. Trying to accommodate all the above aspects in only one type of meeting leads to frustration and virtually wasted time, in my opinion, unless your hopes are pretty meager to begin with. ”
— Larry on Mar 16, 2008.

“ It seems to have potential. I don't know how many people are needed to make it viable, especially in the large geographic region represented, but we can see how it goes. ”
— A former member on Apr 21, 2007.
“ 1. To survive as a group we need a group strategy and a bit more structure, I think. 2. It'd be good to define a topic of each event, that sounds interesting to all of us who decided to attend it to listen to others and give their own opinion on the subject. 3. Thus, each member must have an opportunity to talk about it. 4. I would also suggest to move up from the critique of the religion to actually sharing our free thoughts on different things, as we are free thinkers. ”
—A former member on Aug 26, 2007.
“ this is not an issue of gay, straight, marriage or anything other than your human rights!!! if the church is allowed to start an involvement with personal lives of people who don't affiliate then the next step in this nazi-styled pressure is made easier and almost guaranteed for some acceptance ”
