Details
This is the first program in our new monthly discussion group series in which we will have a chance to talk about anything that interests us - from secular ethics to current affairs to scientific topics.
This month's conversation will be moderated by Wyatt, and our topic is "What Gives Human Life Value?".
We will explore ways of anchoring the notion of human life as valuable in a secular context.
Come share your thoughts on the topic, listen to what others have to say, and - maybe - get new insights.
This month, we are in Beaverton. Next month's discussion will take place in NW Portland.

"A very engaging and thoughtful discussion. Thanks to Wyatt for planning it and to Elizabeth for getting us the space!" -
Elizabeth
"Thanks to all who contributed their ideas and questions. The civility and diversity enriched me and made me feel supported in my journey to self-realization. There was a general tone of giving honor to uncertainty and disagreements. People were open-minded but not afraid to share their points of view on controversial issues." -
ShannonM
"People were thoughtful and engaged. I really appreciated the thought that everyone put into the topic."
