Introduction: I'm so glad to find this local group of "like minded" thinkers. As a young teenager I knew that there was something wrong with going to church, and it has taken me many years to find my way. I'm looking forward to meeting you all.
Do you think that as a society, we are on the right path? What path? Is that the path over there? Why do we need a path? Who's responsible for this "path" and how can I contact them? Who gave them the right to "choose" MY path? The nerve........: Society is on no path and it is sad. The world is overcrowded and angry. We all need realize what we have created and then try to find a solution.
Do you consider yourself "eccentric"? Why?: No, not eccentric, just unfulfilled.
Why do you consider yourself a Freethinker?: Because even tho I have never had the nerve to publically admit my beliefs, even to my children, I just cannot beleive that a god would be so cruel to give this world the hatred and misery that we now have everywhere.
What would you like to gain from/contribute to this meetup?: Courage, friends, and a feeling of knowing that I am not alone in my beliefs.
