Meet other local atheists and freethinkers in the Tupelo and surrounding area for conversation and friendship! Come to one of our meetings to socialize with likeminded people. All topics, ideas and opinions are welcome without fear of judgment or ridicule! Evolution, separation of church and state, science.....it's all up for discussion. If nothing else, this can be a support group for atheists, agnostics, and freethinkers, in a world of deep south fundamentalist religion. It's always nice to talk to other people and have friends who are not blinded and shackled by religion.
If you are a freethinker of any kind, please feel free to join the group. Our members are atheists, agnostics, humanists, skeptics, and freethinkers of all kinds. Perhaps you are a person with a religious background who has started to question your own faith. This is the perfect group for you! We won't do your thinking for you, but will instead challenge you to do so yourself, and provide an open, friendly, environment in which to do so. Also, if you know anyone who might be interested in joining, send them an e-mail with a link to this site and encourage them to join.

Well, the only thing I'm thinking at this point is - am I the only atheist female in North Mississippi?

Thanks, Micah. I'm currently working on a speech entitled "God is NOT". When I get it ready, you and Blair will be the first to know!
