Introduction

To save your souls! Just kidding. To experience the pleasure of being in the company of like minded individuals. Just finished reading The Salmon of Doubt by (& about) Douglas Adams. He was such a passionate & articulate atheist... then I found this!

When did you become an atheist or agnostic?

As a teenager. The parents wanted me to go through confirmation classes at their church & as much as I liked some of the people, it just felt disingenuous to pretend. I couldn't say I believed & soon I began to explore my rationale for not believing.
