Introduction
I wanted to meet people who held a similar world view to mine. "San Diego New Atheists....All the Fun and None of the Guilt!"
When did you become an atheist or agnostic?
My atheist epiphany came as I was teaching about Greek and Roman mythology. It hit me like a bolt of Zeus's lightning that he, like all "gods," does not exist! We made them up in an effort to explain what we couldn't understand. D'oh!
What type of events would you be interested in attending?
Coffee talk, movie night, board game night, picnics, arcades
Would you be interested in hosting events?
I didn't think I would be until I did! I'm hosting "On Your Mind" on August 10th, 2009 and y'all best get your atheist asses over to Pannikin Del Mar at 6pm or I'll send the zombies to eat your brain!

"Oddly, this movie has really stuck with me since we saw it. I keep thinking about the theme of connections/relationships and how important a sense of community and "belonging" affects our well-being and happiness. Even monsters need love, too!"
