DESCRIPTION:The San Diego New Atheists\n\nFellow atheists\,\n\nAs good stew
 ards of our pale blue dot\, let us get together to set an example and meet 
 for 2 hours for a canyon clean up in our beautiful city. \n\nWhen: June 17t
 h\, 9 am  \n\nLocation: Walnut Canyon \n\nBring: a plastic trash bag\, glov
 es\, some device to help you pick up trash if you have trouble bending over
 \, water or preferred beverage.\n\nWear: clothing you would be comfortable 
 hiking in\n\nAs you all know\, larger human populations are placing ever in
 creasing pressure on our environment. One challenge we face is the large vo
 lumes of plastics and other toxic and/or non-biodegradable substances that 
 are polluting our oceans. We can help mitigate that by taking the time to c
 lean our Canyons. Waste from the canyons is often blown out to sea or float
 s down when the rains finally come. Please take a look at the attached vide
