Reminder: New Meetup This Saturday!

Hello to all you secularly-minded Iowans!

I wanted to send out a reminder about this Saturday's meetup, since it's a new time and place. There was a little date confusion because I managed to screw up the date on the calendar at first, but it is Saturday, January 10th at 10am. The location is a nice, locally-owned hybrid of a coffee shop and comic book store on Fleur Drive in Des Moines (further details on the meetup site).

We'll have some couches and/or tables to sit at, depending how many come and what we feel like. I have no planned agenda or topics, we'll just discuss whatever strikes the fancy of those present and go wherever the conversation takes us, which is always an interesting dialog.

I'm planning something a little different than normal this time. We should have internet access, so I'll bring my laptop and a set of speakers, so that, if we choose, we can take a look at some of the fantastic videos online about secularism and many other topics. If you can make it, keep in mind anything you've seen in the past or recently to share with the group!

You'll be able to find me easily, I'll be near the front in an Iowa Secularists shirt, drinking a Chaispresso - a blend of chai latte and espresso that a friend has told me is something of a house specialty. I hope to see you there!
