Summer Picnics

I think it would be great to have some weekend picnics this summer so that people who can't make the evening stuff can socialize too. Any thoughts? Sorry if this has been discussed at recent meetings and I am behind on the times here but I didn't see anything posted about it.

This is a great idea.

I brought the idea up for discussion at our last meeting.
People had several ideas for family friendly events. People were assigned to research their ideas and come back to the group this Sunday with details like cost, availability of playground equipment, whether grills would be allowed and other relevant details. I'm afraid people may have been distracted in the interim.
