Who should come: If you are interested in talking with other atheists, 3rd Sunday meetings are always a great option. Our most popular events attract 100+ people, so if you're looking for interesting conversation, and an interesting presentation, this is the place.

Meeting Description: Are all religions cults? What makes a main stream religion different from a cult? What sort of tools do cults and main stream religion use to manipulate members? What can we do for people who may be in a cult? These are the questions Grant Steves hopes to answer in his presentation, "The Joy of Sects."

Learn something new about humanity that you may not be familiar with, or if you have a family member who is part of a cult, maybe you'll walk away with a new method to help him or her. What ever is the case, the presentation won't be boring!

Find out about Minnesota Atheists' current issues during our business meeting starting at 1 PM.

Grant Steves will present from 2 to 3 PM.

There is room for social time between the meeting and presentation, and after the presentation.

We may go to the Panda Garden on Lexington after as a group.
