Prof. Leonid Hurwicz, the Nobel Prize winner in Economic Sciences, will be the honored guest at our Winter Solstice Party. Prof. Hurwicz is the father of AFHR board member and secretary Sarah Kogut. Both have been lifelong advocates of an atheistic worldview. Register today for this very special event!

This year we will do something different from our usual take-offs of biblical tales. We will have a winter solstice concert, plus additional entertainment. We have a great five-member band, Age of Reason. With guitars, keyboard and drums, they play and sing a wide variety of music, including pop, rock, jazz, blues, folk and country. We'll have songs (by the 2nd place winner of Nye's piano bar "Polish Idol" contest), sassy dances by professional performers, a singalong, a humorous monologue by Randall Tigue, an accounting of all the savior gods born on 25 December by Prof. Gerald Erickson, a brief but inspiring MEMBERSHIP MEETING, and a LAVISH BUFFET. A full bar is also available.
COST: $15 per person. After 13 Dec: $20 per person.
