About The San Antonio Atheists Meetup Group

The San Antonio Atheist meetup group is for Atheists, Agnostics, Secular Humanists, Freethinkers, Skeptics, and other "non-theistic friendly" people looking for a place to meet like-minded people and engage in discussions on any topic from a non-religious perspective. Living in the overtly religious culture of San Antonio, we all know how hard it is to meet others who think like we do! The purpose of this group is to build a refuge and community for non believers in this area.

Note: This is a social/discussion group only - we are not activists. There are other groups more suited to this purpose. It is also not an arena for the religious to attempt to "save" an Atheist.

Atheists, Agnostics or any moniker of the non-religious are welcome. We usually meet several times a month, often at restaurants for dinner and conversation, movie night and other social events. Be sure to check out the message board for the lastest updates, recommended websites, books, and movies and to post any suggestions you may have.
