About The Toronto Atheists and Friends Meetup Group

Hello everyone, and welcome.

I would like to invite anyone and everyone who wants to meet like minded people to join our meetup community.

This is not meant as an exclusion.

Let me just say up front, you don't actually have to be an atheist to come and join in. Agnostic and skeptical theists are of course welcome. Bring your friends. Just bear in mind this is an atheist meetup group, so please don't attempt to save us from ourselves.

Respect for other peoples' points of view... which vary quite a lot even amongst atheists is something I think we need to encourage.

That said, discussion of any and all topics related to atheism or not is also encouraged. This is after all primarily a social thing.

Also, I should note that this is my first time organizing a meetup, so any help, advice, donations (not required) and criticism(of the constructive variety) is certainly welcome.
