The Springfield Area Freethinkers Meetup Group Message Board › What are you bringing to the garden party?

This month's Meetup will be a potluck picnic. We need to coordinate what people bring so that we don't have piles of fried chicken and no side dishes.
Please post what you will bring with you here and as host I will try to fill in any remaining gaps. |

UPDATE ON GARDEN PARTY FOOD
Since it seems difficult to coordinate a pure potluck, the picnic has been changed to the ?dish-to-pass? format. That is, each party brings their own entree, plus a side dish to pass around to all. Take this into account in your plans! |

red beans and rice. Should I bring disposable bowls? Or have you a few there Janet? Spoons?

Thanks for the thought Mark.
I have dishes and glasses and napkins, etc., I think adequate for all. Just worry about food. If you have some of those food covers that keep off the bugs, that might be a good idea. Not that the bugs have been bad here, but you know how it is?sit down to a picnic and every fly and ant for miles around will find you. Janet |

I hope to make it to the picnic tonight. If so, I'll probably pick up some appropriate side dish in Springfield (maybe a relish tray). Won't know until I see what is available.
