Introduction
To meet and converse with other non-religious people.
How long have you been conscious that you no longer believe in gods? Has the realization altered things in your life?
I never really gave it too much thought until recently. I've found it somewhat liberating to know also that there are other people who share my beliefs (or lack thereof).
What led you to abandon your faith in the prevailing mythologies of the culture? Was it a sudden realization? Triggered by an event? Or did you just gradually evolve to this position without realizing it until it was done?
It was a somewhat evolved process. I tried out Christianity for a while but found it produced more guilt than anything else so I gave up.
What belief system were you raised in?
