Introduction
Life in an intellectual wasteland necessitates one's search for an oasis of thought.
How long have you been conscious that you no longer believe in gods? Has the realization altered things in your life?
The truth of obvious reality I cannot recall questioning.
What led you to abandon your faith in the prevailing mythologies of the culture? Was it a sudden realization? Triggered by an event? Or did you just gradually evolve to this position without realizing it until it was done?
I'm not entirely certain that my "faith" was ever so substantial that any degree of abandonment was necessary to arrive at another particular philosophical position. To characterize it as an "evolved" realization may be sufficiently accurate.
What belief system were you raised in?
Popular pseudo-Christianity.
