- What belief system were you raised in?

Raised in the First Presbyterian Church; spent about a year at Trinity Lutheran School, Mother re-married a Catholic, Sister married a Southern Baptist, Cousing married Jewish.
- What led you to abandon your faith in the prevailing mythologies of the culture? Was it a sudden realization? Triggered by an event? Or did you just gradually evolve to this position without realizing it until it was done?

I never really understood the term "spirituality" until I studied "euphoria." I never saw extraordinarily negative consequences occuring to other non-believers.
- How long have you been conscious that you no longer believe in gods? Has the realization altered things in your life?

I can't really remember when I turned, probably on the day I learned the truth about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

ed topics have been our focus recently, but we've also discussed UFOs, Holocaust denial, cosmology, psychics, etc. Most meetings tend to be DVDs or presentations, with the occasional open discussion.
