The Springfield Area Freethinkers November Meetup

We will get together over lunch once more.

I hope Wally will be able to come this time, so we can talk more about the IlliniCor initiative. We need to define what has to be done and get people working on each task.

Currrently nominated for the ad hoc committee to create a new web page for the group are Wally, Eric, Fred, and Mike. Anybody else with skills and energy would be welcome!

We also need come up with an initial event for the group to host once the publicity starts and we (hopefully) start getting new members.

A suggestion that we add another monthly Meetup that will be strictly a book club was met with approval last month. Everybody please come with suggestions for good books to start us out. Have one that you would be willing to be the presenter on. I would suggest that this book Meetup start in January, as everyone will be busy with the holidays soon, and I personally will be out of town for much of December, and so will be unable to host the group. Those who are interested, think about what would be a good time for such a gathering.

Otherwise, bring your wits and liven up the conversation as usual! See you then.
