Skeptics at the Pub! We will have skpetics at the Pub on the first and third thursday of each month. Please come and bring some friends! October 1st and 15th. November 5th and 19th (you get the idea) October and November Meetings will be at Crane Alley. http://crane-alley.co... CRANE ALLEY RESTAURANT & BAR 115 WEST MAIN STREET URBANA IL 61801 217-384-7526 The have pool tables, food and drinks. Meetings will start on the main level and move upstairs if we get big enough. Look for Beth (in a yellow CUFREE shirt) or other members. Oct 1st While you are all drinking at the pub (see above), I will be making a presentation to the U of I student group AAF (Atheists, Agnostics and Freethinkers). This meeting is for U of I students only. Oct 5th I will be on an interfaith panel. This event is hosted by "Interfaith in Action" (IIA) an RSO on campus. I will give out more details when I have them. Oct 12th Dawkins talks at Indiana University in Bloomington Indiana. I will be driving there and have space for 2 more people in my car. I will leave at 12 Noon on the 12th and expect to be back around 11PM that night. if you would like to go let me know. You can also go on your own. If you would like to drive - let me know and I will give you directions. It is a three hour drive there and seating is "first come first served". The event is open to the public. Oct 15th Skeptics in the pub - Crane Alley - 7PM. I will not be able to join you :( Have fun without me. Oct 28 - 7PM Margaret Downey will be on the U of I Campus. Margaret is a very famous atheist. Former president of AAI and she won a law suit against the Boy Scouts. http://www.margaretdo...
