Hmm, July in Illinois. Likely to be unbearably hot and humid. We’ll all be dragging, most likely. And I may in fact not be available for this Meetup; we may be on vacation at that point.

Taken together, these things tell me not to be ambitious for this meeting. Let’s just say, meet at the Buffet for some desultory conversation, and see how it goes. Maybe you’ll all get chance to gossip about me!

 The conversation is always good, but I'm looking forward to having the occasional presentation, DVD viewing, book discussion, etc. ... 

 Because just about the time you get to thinking there ain't no more to learn, up comes the meetup date and live and in person you find out from the group that there be another months worth of ...
