Jazz on the Lawn at Beachaven Winery in Clarksville

Ben and Alyssa have offered to open their home to meet prior to going to "Jazz on the Lawn at Beachaven Winery". Please see the details below.

From Alyssa: " Our address is: 3117 Westchester Dr, Clarksville, TN 37043 We are less than a mile from the interstate and easy to find.

Directions - from Nashville: Take I-24W to exit 11. Turn left off of the exit ramp, and then take the 2nd left onto Sango Rd between the BP and McDonalds (the first left would put you right back on the interstate).

Go around the curve, and then take the 3rd left onto Westchester Dr. Our house is on the left and has a green mailbox and green shutters. If you get to the stop sign, you have gone one road too far.

Anyone who can't make it by 5 could meet us there, but they will probably want to let us know they are coming so we can save them a spot and have someones cell # as it is a big place and finding your friends in the crowd can be a challenge.

Kids are welcome, our daughters (age 13/11) will be with us. We have a playground in the back where they can hang out before we go.

People should bring any or all of the following items, as they wish:
Money for wine
Folding lawn chairs/picnic blankets
Coolers
Any picnic items
Whatever food they want to eat*

*We are planning to have the grill fired up and will probably be grilling some brats and hotdogs to take along. Folks are welcome to bring along more stuff to grill. We will provide basic condiments and some chips to snack on. We will also be taking along the big cooler and a case of bottled water (for
the kids or non-wine drinkers).*

The weather is supposed to be great, although some may want a jacket as the sun goes down. I've never heard a bad band at Jazz on the Lawn, and it's a great atmosphere, very laid back, good place to mingle and talk and just generally enjoy yourself. I hope everyone is willing to make the trek to Clarksville, it's not that far, and totally worth it!

Here are the winery's rules for the event:
"Concert Information:
Our concerts are free admission with free parking. You gotta admit, that's the best deal around!
The music always starts at 6:30 pm and goes until 9:30 pm. Because seating is "general admission",
it pays to get here around 5 pm to get both a good parking spot and a good viewing spot on the lawn.

As always, there are some terms and conditions.
Ours are few and simple, and we call them the "Rules of the Beach":
Please bring with you: your friends, a picnic, and a blanket and/or lawn chairs.
Please DO NOT bring with you: pets, grills, and outside alcohol.
Also, please pick up your trash! We provide dozens of trash receptacles around the lawn."
