2 PM FFRF Group Photo, 4:45 Movie, More stirfry at 7 =)

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) "Imagine No Religion" billboard group photo is Sunday, 10/11, at 2pm. Thanks to Alan's Google Satellite and Street View scouting we have location clarification now. The billboard is on a free-standing sign on the southwest corner of Grand River Ave and Birwood in Detroit. The sign is adjacent to, and to the east of, the Polar Refrigeration building at 12345 Grand River Ave. Here's a map. We're going to park on Birwood south of Grand River Ave. The FFRF announcement is in our Files section here.

Then we're off to view 'The Invention of Lying' at the AMC Star John R 15 in Madison Heights showing at 4:45pm followed by Fuji Japanese Buffet for dinner, drinks and discussion. Fuji is walking distance from the AMC Star John R. To get from the FFRF group photo to the DAM movie outing, Google Maps says to head north on Birwood Ave. toward Fullerton St., take the 1st right onto Fullerton, turn left at Oakman Blvd, take the 2nd right onto W. Davison Ave./MI-8 E., continue to take the exit onto I-75 N toward Flint, take exit 65A for 14 Mile Rd. E., turn right at 14 Mile Rd., turn right at John R. Rd. for 1/3 of a mile to the AMC Start John R. on the right. More movie outing details are here.
