Introduction
I'm a 40 yr old father of three. I have been both a libertarian and an atheist for many years. I enjoy rational philosophical discussions about freedom, politics, and generally advancing humanity in a positive direction.
Tell us your story about how you escaped faith based beliefs?
I thought and reasoned my way out.
What, if anything, do you do to promote a free society?
I conduct myself in a manner which is consistant with my principles so as to set an example for others. Additionally, I advocate freedom and free market principles as often as possible to as many people as possible.
How do you define "freedom?"
Freedom is the sovereign ability and right to control your own body and all your property. It includes the right to engage in any voluntary transaction with any consenting adult or to refuse to contract at all. No person has the right to control or trespass upon another person. I believe freedom is a necessary prerequisite to peace.
Which did you stop worshipping first? God or Government?
I figured out there was no god at age 12 and fought with parents for years afterwards. Now, my dad is an atheist.
