  •  Well I'm new to the freethinking world(4 months), and I haven't told my family that I'm an atheist. I don't even think they know what that means. I have given them hints though, and I think my dad is more accepting than my mom. Yes it does feel weird being black and atheist in the bible belt. I recently found a local atheist group here on Meetup and I'm very happy.
