Who
- Anyone who is interested in supporting Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) by raising money and joinging the 2008 AIDS Walk.
Why
- Join the Penn & Teller Challenge Team and get perks based on the amount you raise. Also, they have promised to double the amount raised by their team, so your contributions will be worth double!

The AFAN AIDS walk is only 2 weeks away. I hope everyone is having success with raising money for the cause. If you RSVPed yes for the Meet Up, great! We can plan to meet and all walk together (more info to come later this week). Please note:
1. Even if you RSVP on the Meet Up site, you still have to register directly with the AFAN AIDS walk. Please go to this link and sign up. Make sure to choose the Penn & Teller Challenge Team. http://afanlv.kintera...
2. This is a charity event and the primary purpose is to raise funds for AFAN, which supports our local community. You can just make a small donation yourself, or raise funds from friends and family. Depending on how much you raise, you can qualify for great perks. At a minimum, is you donate/raise $50 you get 2 tickets to their show and you get to accompany them on the walk. 3. The AFAN site makes it easy for you to create e-mail blasts and a personal web page which will help you communicate with your friends and family about donating. Be sure to use all the tools you can.

Join the Penn & Teller Challenge and help support Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN).
The organization provides support and advocacy for adults and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS in southern Nevada. AFAN works to reduce HIV infection through prevention education to eliminate fear, prejudice and the stigma associated with the disease.
Depending on how much you raise you can get great perks from Penn & Teller ranging from free t-shirts, and tickets to their show, to special VIP night and an on-stage appearance with them at the AIDS walk. Check out this link for more detail.
AFAN provides great tools to help you raise money and make it easy for friend and family to pledge on your behlaf. Once signed up you can create your own AFAN webpage that folks can use to donate directly.
