TOPIC: Aristotle: Master of Those That Know

GROUP LEADER: Roger Smith

Join us as we listen to the first of three lectures about one of the greatest thinkers the human race has ever produced. In the middle ages he was simply known as the Master of Those That Know.

This is a three part lecture series so we will be dealing with Aristotle over 3 sessions (there is just too much to squeeze into one session). The first lecture is entitled "Aristotle on the Knowable" by Prof. Daniel Robinson.

These lectures are part of the Teaching Company series The Great Ideas of Philosophy (www.teach12.com).

The meeting is limited to 15 people so if you are interested in attending either:

call me (Roger Smith) [masked] and let me know you plan to attend.
I will inform all those who are attending where the meeting is being held.

Remember: you must be a member to attend (though you can sign up for membership on the evening of the lecture, so come on down).
