A great group of diverse people. The more voices/points of view the better the group. There is a wide range of ages so anyone would fit in....people are very accepting and welcoming.

The meetup group is so interesting and thought provoking. I have learned so much in the four last meetings I have attended. It's so great to share new ideas and learn about older ideas from a different perspective. The people who attend are friendly, courteous and so bright.

In this group, a variety of viewpoints and concerns are expressed. Enrichment, rather than concensus, occurs when independant thinkers gather.

If you've always been intrigued by philosophy but were too busy attending to life's details to be able to give it much thought, then this is an opportunity to gather with like minded friendly people who are willing to be exposed to challenging ideas. We listen to a recorded lecture by a professional philosopher and use that as a springboard for discussion about the contents of the lecture.

Join if you are a free thinker and/or an ATHEIST. From what I observed this is not a group for fence sitters or those whose religious ego is easily bruised.
