DESCRIPTION:Philadelphia Atheists Meetup\n\nThe Freethought Society of Grea
 ter Philadelphia (FSGP)  will be hosting a lecture by at their monthly meet
 ing in August.  \nFrom the FSGP Calendar:\n\n\nBob Ritter is the legal coor
 dinator of the Appignani Humanist Legal Center of the American Humanist Ass
 ociation. He is a member of the D.C. and Virginia bar\, the Supreme Court b
 ar\, the bars of the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 4th\, 10th and D.C. Cir
 cuits and of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.\n\nRitte
 r is co-counsel with Mike Newdow in Newdow v. Roberts\, a case challenging 
 the infusion of religion into the presidential inaugural ceremonies. That c
 ase is currently before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Pre

 \nJoin us to hear Ritter’s take on the complete abdication of reason by the
  Supreme Court majority in Van Orden v. Perry – the 2005 Supreme Court deci
 sion that held that the Fraternal Order of Eagles’ Ten Commandments tombsto
 ne displayed on the Texas state capitol grounds does not violate the Establ
