What Pam is saying about this Meetup Group

All are very well read on the subject of religions throughout history. Some have even been leaders in a church. Some are deists, some are atheists and some are agnostic. What we all agree on is that all (The Bible, The Koran, The Torah etc.) religious dogma is made up. Research history and how they all came about and how so much killing has been done over who's god is better, or which god or gods is right. The" holy" books were created by man when most people were illiterate nomads. Religion then and now is about control and money. (Just why is the Vatican one of the wealthiest organizations in the world?) The Bible stories are atrocious and contradictory. One person at a time we grow to prevent our country from becoming a theocracy. We are Americans too. We love our freedom to choose. Our influence in keeping any one group's god or gods from making laws that affect everyone (including you) may make a difference in keeping us all free to choose. Just read history.
