It is the case coming before a dismissal hearing, in which the atheist group is suing to have god removed from the homeland defense constitution of Kentucky, which I question, because really, hasnt god done a WONDERFUL job throughout history of protecting good god fearing christians?

Hi all, I didn't make it to the last meeting, where I take it this issue was discussed. Can you give me some information on what this meeting in Frankfort is about? Camille

    •  Commonwealth counsel was ho-hum and logically errant, hitting most nails with his head (some which were compound straw-man-red-herrings). Edwin, on the other hand, was superb -- lively and sharp, hitting every nail square on the head. The judge seemed to take proper note of Edwin's arguments and did not summarily dismiss (a splendid outcome; going in, dismissal was anticipated to be the most likely outcome) but will consider judgment for a while (perhaps up to 90 days). As the judge left the courtroom he joked that he had tried to switch this case for "the Billy G. case" -- I love a judge with a sense of humor (and the judge sure seemed to appreciate Edwin's sense of humor). A fine day in court, it was! Most all who attended retired for lunch together after adjournment, and lively discussions wandered all over the subject map -- it was a well worthwhile trip to Frankfort for me! Emmett shoulda been there... -- Frank
