The Center for Inquiry in Indiana is now doing podcasts. I just listened to the one featuring Austin Dacy, the author of The Secular Conscience, and I thought it was very good. It's about secularism and ethics, and how secular people must not let the religous have a monopoly on moral values and language. Anyway, it's a very good listen and could also make for a good discussion topic in future meetups.

Has anyone in the group read / finished this book? I was mentioning it briefly to Joe and Darryl after the meeting last night. I heard the same interview and checked it out from my library the next day although my reading / interest list is a bit too large right now and only made it through the first 100 pages the first night.

I haven't read it yet, but it's on a long list of books I'd like to read.

I will make myself read it if we get a discussion group going with it.
