Meetup Description: We will be having semi-monthly meetups on social anthropology related book topics in an effort to expand our scope. Our first book is "Planet India" which covers the religious and historical background of India leading up to and including the radical changes occurring in the past thirty years and the regional conflicts in the news today.

To discuss the book, we will be meeting at Korma Sutra which has an affordable but delicious lunch buffet.

The book is scarcely available in the local public libraries but is widely available for less than $5 on various used book websites.

I have set the RSVP limit to 12 for now -- that is what our reservation is currently for. If there is wide interest, I will call the restaurant again to see if we can have a larger table.
